MECASTACK

STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING

MecaStack is the most widely used software for designing self-supported and guy wire supported steel stacks. An easy-to-use Windows interface allows designers to quickly model a stack. The user has complete control over the codes used for Along Wind, Across Wind, Stress, and Fatigue. Load Combinations and factors can be customized as needed.

MECALUG

LIFTING AND RIGGING

MecaLug is an easy to use software program effective in designing and analyzing lifting lugs per ASME BTM-1 “Design of Below-the-Hook Lifting Devices”. The program also has the added ability of being able to apply those lugs to a lifting system and analyze what loads would be seen by the crane, cable, and lugs. Making it an all-in-one lifting design software.

A comprehensive online training program on the use of MecaWind which follows the ASCE 7 Standard. The training module is for a single (1) user and upon completion the user will receive a certificate indicating that they have successfully completed the course. The user will have access to the training for 60 days from the date of purchase.

  • How to navigate the analysis report
  • How to utilize the help systems and request support services
  • Basic guidance on how to create wind load calculations per the ASCE 7 Standard

    REFUND POLICY

    Refunds must occur within 72 hours of purchase and for any time after which store credit will be considered on a case by case basis. The customer will need to email [email protected] with their refund request with proof of purchase attached.

    SOFTWARE LICENSE TYPES

    Meca Single Vs Network

    Single User License

    This licensing is for a single user to be installed on a single computer. It can be moved to another computer in the event of a computer malfunction. However the license is not to be utilized by more than one user.

    Single User License FAQ

    Do I have to be connected to the internet to utilize the software?

    The single user license does require an internet connection to start the application. Otherwise the software will not function properly.

    Can I share the software with Coworkers?

    A single user license can only be used on a single computer.

    How do I set up software on a laptop when traveling?

     In the event that a single user has a need for a second computer (i.e. Laptop), then we do offer special pricing to add a license for the laptop. Please note that you must purchase a primary license before you are eligible to purchase a laptop license. There is no second laptop license option for MecaStack. If needed a MecaStack Single User License can be moved to a laptop for travel purposes.

    Floating Network License

    This license offers the ability to share one license with an unlimited number of users. If one license is purchased, then only one user will be able to run the program at a given time. However once that user closed the software, then another user may utilize the software.

    Floating Network License FAQ

    Do I have to be connected to the internet to utilize the software?

    The floating network license does require an internet connection to run the application. Otherwise the software will not function properly.

    Can I share the software with Coworkers?

    Yes, there is no limit to the number of users who can share a seat. However only one (1) user per seat will be able to utilize the software at a given time.

    How do I set up software on a laptop when traveling?

    You would login to the software just as you would normally. Internet access and an available seat are required.
