MecaStack
MecaStack stands as the most widely utilized software globally for the design of self-supported and guy wire supported steel stacks. Our user-friendly Windows-based interface enables designers to efficiently model a stack with complete control over the codes used for Along Wind, Across Wind, Stress, and Fatigue. Additionally, the software allows for the customization of load combinations and factors, providing flexibility and precision as per the specific project requirements.
MecaWind
MecaWind is a highly efficient program that engineers and designers rely on to conduct Wind calculations per ASCE 7-22, 7-16, 7-10, & 7-05 as well as the Florida Building Code. The user-friendly nature of the program, coupled with its ability to generate professional-looking outputs containing all necessary wind calculations, makes it a standout choice. Moreover, users have extensive control at their disposal to tailor the output to their specific requirements, enhancing the overall usability and effectiveness of the program.
MecaLug
MecaLug is an intuitive and user-friendly software program designed to effectively design and analyze lifting lugs per ASME BTH-1 "Design of Below-the-Hook Lifting Devices." Additionally, the program offers an advanced capability to apply these lugs to a lifting system and analyze the corresponding loads experienced by the crane, cable, and lugs - thereby functioning as an all-in-one lifting design software.
Wind Examples E-Book
Our new e-book offers a comprehensive set of wind load calculations, demonstrating the process of calculating wind loads per ASCE 7-16 and ASCE 7-12 in a clear and detailed manner. Furthermore, the e-book provides a valuable comparison of the different methods within each standard, as well as a detailed analysis of the results obtained from ASCE 7-16 versus ASCE 7-22.

Meca has designed many guy supported stacks ranging from 15 m (50 ft.) to 167 m (550 ft.) in height. We have performed the following types of special designs:

FINITE ELEMENT ANALYSIS
Finite element analysis does not always have to be expensive. We encounter certain types of problems repeatedly involving stacks, piping, pressure vessels, etc.. Therefore, we have become very adept at building certain geometries for analysis very quickly to provide a cost effective solution.
AIR COOLED HEAT EXCHANGER STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS
Meca has years of experience verifying the structural integrity for air coolers of various types and designs. We also have experience in the verification of box headers and FEA of nozzles.
